 New Zangle Listserv

As many of you know, two of our communication methods to districts have been through the WISE message screen and host bulletin process. Those methods have not been very effective for Zangle clients; therefore, we have added a Zangle Listserv (zangle@mail.resa.net).  RESA Student Services staff will begin sending important notices, Zangle tips and other communications through the Listserv. Please sign up for the Listserv by sending an email to:

imailsrv@list.resa.net

 in the body of the message type:

subscribe zangle  Yourfirstname Yourlastname

You will receive two email messages back from majordomo, one giving you the welcome message and the other indicating that the add was successful. You do not need to respond to either message as you are now on the list.

Students

RESA Computer Services provides Administrative Student Services support using two comprehensive student reporting applications - the WISE System and Zangle. Both systems are fully supported and provide complete district wide reporting and are fully compliant with state requirements. The WISE System is host based, housing all databases and programs on the RESA mainframe system.

RESA has since moved into the client/server and web Student Services products with Zangle. This student system contains many components including demographics, scheduling, grade reporting, graduation requirements, medical records and attendance. It also features a Teacher Grade Book component that can replace the teacher manual grade book by calculating student grades (averages, curves or weighted averages), based on attendance, homework, test scores and/or other teacher specified criteria.

Zangle provides the best district-wide solution for student information administration. A wide selection of modules lets you build an integrated system ideally suited to your specific situation. Each module is engineered to forge the communication links that can turn your existing data processing investment into a more cost-effective administrative tool.
