Wayne RESA has provided curriculum and instruction support to more than twenty local school districts by providing technical assistance as they align their curriculum to the Michigan Curriculum Framework. The newly approved Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCE), requires an additional alignment process. Content consultants work with Wayne County staff in aligning curriculum with the GLCE. In addition to the technical support in curriculum, RESA has provided over 100 professional development sessions utilizing best practices in the major content areas and in instruction.
