On September 17, the HPSI leadership and coaches met
with DPS leadership and principals involved in the work of High Priority
Schools. Chris Wigent, RESA Superintendent, began the session by
outlining the importance of the rollout, and praising everyone’s
commitment to the process for the benefit of children. Leslie Holland
and Todd Henderson, Co-Directors, reviewed the HPSI implementation, and
built a common understanding for the work to be done in schools. HPSI
School Teams and principals scheduled dates for entering schools to
begin the important work. The Co-Directors are meeting with other
participating districts’ superintendents individually.
