Early On

Early On® is an IDEA mandated initiative designed to provide unduplicated, comprehensive services to eligible infants and toddlers and their families. RESA collaborates with other Wayne County human service agencies in the delivery of services and acts as the fiscal agent for the nearly $2.5 million in Early On® funds.

The Michigan Interagency Coordinating Council (MICC), operating under IDEA Part C, works with the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) to develop and implement statewide early intervention services for infants and toddlers with disabilities. This coordinated system brings together multiple agencies to effectively deliver services to families.
